Responsible for conducting end-to-end strategic sourcing RFx events from request initiation, publishing the event, conduct commercial evaluation, strategic negotiation of commercial pricing and contracting terms with suppliers to closure and final award of contract. Implement sourcing strategies to support stakeholder&aposs project objectives to provide the bank competitive advantage in areas of materials, supplies and services. Accountable for supplier relationship management which includes managing Supplier Performance Scorecard Program for critical suppliers, drive preferred supplier program and improvement i.e supplier reference checks, site visits and audit, as required. Ensure proper monitoring and contracting with strategic vendors, optimizing cost and ensure proper supplier risk mitigation measures are in place with adequate due diligence performed at all times. Ensures the deployment of best practices in business process and management process in respect to Strategic Sourcing functions. Manage key outsourcing vendor agreements ensuring timely contract renewal and adherence to bank&aposs outsourcing guidelines. Implement purchasing strategies to support corporate and divisional objectives, providing the company competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies Identify alternative suppliers for sourcing critical products/services Analyze supplier pricing and cost structures to support negotiation strategy. Conduct price benchmarking where required. Measure and report cost savings and cost avoidance generated through sourcing initiatives. Liaise and maintain relationship with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives. Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous service support from suppliers and minimizing business operational risk and interruption Close interaction with key business users on strategy to maximize cost savings and explore opportunities ahead for cost optimization. Conduct post-mortem for major sourcing activities as part of the feedback process with internal stakeholders for improvement. Deal with various other stakeholders and support functions including legal counsels, procurement/Admin team, finance depts., compliance and internal audit. To ensure sourcing policy is complied with in the daily activities To adopt and use fully the prescribed sourcing process and e-tools To practice data governance for KPI/savings calculation and reporting To maximize the usage of tools and support to enable sourcing documents/ contracts are stored confidentially Perform industry analysis, trends and supplier analysis Lead, report status progress, and ensure successful go-live for Ariba Sourcing & SLP Modules and/or any future sourcing system enhancement. Ensure proper vendor due diligence and vendor performance management are being carried out in a timely manner. Continuous learning of assigned area of spend management Updating and becoming skilled in areas of strategic sourcing best practices, inclusive of negotiation tactics Job Requirements Degree or Professional Qualification in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain. Diploma in any discipline and/or STPM Strategic Sourcing with minimum 3 years work experience Business Contract Management knowledge with minimum 3 years of experience Ariba/SAP knowledge and technical skill sets (added advantage) Show more Show less
