The successful candidate will manage financial business processes, investment analysis, budgeting/forecasting as well as operations and costing analysis.

What you'll do:As a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. You will be responsible for leading all commercial finance discussions, driving internal operational planning, managing financial business processes and more. Your role will involve working closely with various teams to ensure the smooth running of the company's finances. From supporting sales and marketing teams with financial analysis to conducting feasibility studies for new products, your work will be integral to the company's success.
  • Support Sales and Marketing Team in terms of Financial Analysis such as ROI, Customer Contribution and Budget analysis
  • Assist in building Annual plans and operationalising the plans; matching investments to sustainable growth
  • Monitor and control Sales Budgets including both the investment budgets as well as the indirect budgets
  • Provide key financial information/business analysis and support on financial calculations relating to New Product launches, Pricing or Promotion, Business Case and Strategic Plans preparations
  • Conduct Feasibility Study of New Product and recommendation for margin improvement
  • Understand Sales and Marketing budgets and their activities
  • Prepare monthly rolling forward forecasts and annual budget for decision making and execution
  • Work closely with Malaysia finance team to maintain and improve compliance as per group policy for all financial reporting, tax, statutory audit and governance related topics
What you bring:The ideal candidate for the Senior Commercial Finance Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in commercial finance, financial planning and analysis. Your background will include budget planning, P&L and balance sheet management. As a proven business partner to commercial functions, you'll have a strong understanding of business operations and be able to deliver high quality, accurate work within tight deadlines.   • Degree in Accountancy/Finance or professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA)
  • Minimum of five years of working experience in Commercial Finance, FP & A, Budget Planning, Planning Analysis, Financial Analysis related field
  • Experience in Budget Planning, P&L and Balance Sheet is preferable
  • Proven experience as a business partner to the commercial functions (Sales and Marketing), with overall good business understanding and perspective
  • Capable of delivering high quality and accurate work while respecting short lead times due to strong planning and priority setting
  • Proven strategic and analytical thinking capability coupled with good business acumen skills and judgement
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
