Job Summary To provide the necessary legal services as required/assigned (which includes the provisioning of legal advice and the drafting/reviewing of legal documents) with a view of ensuring the interest and rights of the Commission are well safeguarded and within the laws. Job Responsibilities Prepare the required legal advice on matters affecting the Commission, to ensure sound advice is provided in safeguarding the interests and rights of the Commission; Draft/vet legal documents involving the Commission, to ensure that the interests and rights of the Commission are well-protected; and Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders which relate to the provisioning of the legal services required, including negotiations with counterparties, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the legal matters raised and the legal interests of the Commission are well protected. Qualification & Work Experience Candidate must possess at least a LLB (Hons) from a reputable university with a minimum CGPA of 3.0; A member of the Malaysian Bar will be an added advantage; Minimum 2-4 years of working experience. Exposure in handling corporate matters will be an added advantage. Exposure to communications and multimedia laws will be an added advantage Technical Competencies Sound knowledge (of the communications and multimedia laws and other related laws); Drafting skills (legislative and commercial drafting); Communications skills; Analytical and critical thinking skills; and Stakeholder management.
