1. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS a) To assist in Company business, grow and to achieve the level of sales turnover and profitability according to annual budget. b) To support sales & marketing by developing market segments in the central & east coast region, to secure and optimize sales volume, collection, and profitability. c) Strictly adhere to the company procedures and complied with ISO requirements. 2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND SCOPE OF POSITION a) To ensure that the predetermined sales, gross profitability, and growth objectives of the Market Segment & Territories are achieved or exceeded. b) To monitor the performance versus the objectives on a regular basis and to recommend and implement corrective actions on any negative variations thereof. c) To work closely with other colleagues / managers towards achieving the best benefits for the Company. d) To ensure the availability of stocks and to closely gear the stock position to the actual needs of the market and financial objectives of the company. e) To recommend and update new products in the market and evaluate the potential for future marketing. f) To ensure efficient control and collection of trade debts from the customers according to the agreed credit facilities. g) To ensure a high level of market penetration and coverage, and adequate level of customer service, technical service, and after-sales service. h) To provide regular feedback on the general market conditions, trends, and competitors moves in the assigned regions. i) To plan, implement and monitor all sales and marketing activities for new market segments and/or territory as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager. j) To update firsthand information to direct report on all matters directly or indirectly related to specification, sales and marketing and the organization. k) To update and prepare weekly sales reports and material forecast on a timely basis. l) To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by Regional Sales Manager. 3. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS a) Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Civil / Building / Chemical) or equivalent with good English spoken and computer skill (Microsoft office). b) Field sales experience of at least 3 years in industrial selling, preferably in building construction waterproofing material is essential. c) Willing to learn attitude and ready to take up new task as and when required. d) Willing to travel within Malaysia for business purposes.
