In this business critical role, you will develop, explore and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the solar energy division, aligning with the overall corporate objectives. You will also ensure that all sales targets are being achieved in the assigned sales territory.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential partners, and business opportunities in the solar energy sector
- Identify, negotiate and engage with potential solar energy partners, including solar companies and technology providers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external partners to ensure the timely and efficient execution of solar energy projects
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and incentives related to solar energy projects in Indonesia & Malaysia
- Ensure compliance with all relevant permits, regulations, and standards
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with solar energy projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement risk management protocols to ensure the success and sustainability of solar ventures
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
- Proven track record in business development, with a focus on renewable energy, preferably solar
- Extensive experience in project management, including the planning and execution of large-scale energy projects
- Strong network and connections within the solar energy industry
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and policies related to solar energy in Indonesia
- Willing to travel outstation and overseas to meet suppliers, customers and project sites
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities
