The Quality Director will lead and oversee quality assurance strategies and processes within the company. You will develop and manage quality control systems, from initial engineering design through to the final product, to meet company, supplier, and customer expectations. Your work will be crucial in defining and implementing the standards, methods, and procedures that guarantee product reliability and accuracy
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead quality assurance and control teams to ensure product consistency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address quality-related challenges.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality processes and systems.
  • Manage supplier quality performance and establish corrective action plans when needed.
  • Oversee customer feedback processes to address quality concerns and enhance satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and progress.

  • Strong working knowledge of Statistical data analysis, and ability to analyze data to present information
  • Experience and effective capabilities with ISO 9001 and continuous improvement methods (8D)
  • Critical thinking skills, ability to understand complex issues and problems, and develop plans to address both internal, supplier and customer needs and objectives
  • Is a site Leader. Must have effective leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills, team, individual, written, verbal, listening, and presentation
  • Team skills, leadership without control, influence and coaching skills
  • 10+ years experience as a Manager/Director highly preferred. Experience in quality and manufacturing systems and techniques including ISO 9001, SPC, TQM and customer/supplier management required
  • Experience in welding and/or electromechanical assemblies, system integration
  • 10+ years direct management
