Job Summary: The Human Resource Assistant cum Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and ensuring smooth front desk operations. This dual-role position requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to assist in HR tasks while professionally representing the organization as the first point of contact. Key Responsibilities: A. Reception Duties: Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Maintain the reception area and ensure it is tidy and presentable. Coordinate appointments and manage meeting room bookings. B. HR Assistant Duties: Assist with the recruitment process (posting job ads, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates). Help with onboarding and offboarding procedures. Maintain and update employee records, both digital and physical. Assist with attendance, leave tracking, and timesheet collection. Support payroll and benefits administration with required documentation. Organize and maintain HR documents, policies, and forms. Help plan and execute employee engagement activities and events. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience as an HR assistant or receptionist is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with HR software is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
