- 2-4 years' experience in merchant acquisition / business development (preferably in fintech, loyalty, e-wallets, F&B, or retail solutions).
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding merchant recruitment targets.
- Strong network in F&B, retail, or lifestyle sectors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with field sales, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings.
- Self-driven, energetic, and target-oriented.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin/Malay an added advantage.
- Experience from GrabFood, ShopeePay, TnG, Boost, Fave, StoreHub, or similar.
- Existing merchant contacts that can be onboarded immediately.
- Knowledge of digital rewards, loyalty programs, and payment systems.
- Identify and prospect new merchants in targeted sectors (F&B, retail, lifestyle, services).
- Present Bello's value proposition and convince merchants to join the platform.
- Negotiate terms and packages (pricing, reward structures, campaigns).
- Work with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding & training for merchants.
- Build and maintain strong merchant relationships to drive engagement and retention.
- Achieve monthly acquisition targets (number of new merchants onboarded, active merchants).
- Gather merchant feedback and relay to the product/marketing team for improvement.
