Automation Engineer

- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions for semiconductor backend processes.
- Support hardware integration projects involving robotics, sensors, PLCs, and other factory equipment.
- Develop and maintain automation software using scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, or Java).
- Implement and troubleshoot equipment communication protocols such as REST APIs, SECS/GEM, Modbus, and other industrial standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, equipment, and IT engineers to ensure seamless automation deployment.
- Participate in system testing, debugging, and documentation of automation solutions.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong interest in factory automation, hardware-software integration, and industrial communication protocols.
- Basic programming skills in any language (Python, C#, Java, etc.).
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with REST APIs, SECS/GEM, Modbus, or other communication protocols is a strong advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
