Job Brief: We are seeking candidates with a solid background in Server Administration who possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. The candidate will be able to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including users, analysts, developers, and cloud and infrastructure engineers, to ensure seamless operations and support across the organization. Job Responsibilities: Configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise servers running Windows and Linux operating systems. Demonstrate strong hands-on skills in Windows and Linux system administration. Administer Huawei Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments. Manage VMware vCenter virtual infrastructure. Utilize IT operations platforms such as ManageEngine (preferred). Support and work with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud (advantageous). Troubleshoot and resolve server hardware, OS, and network-related issues collaborate with vendors as required. Monitor server and network performance metrics to ensure SLAs are maintained. Forecast server and network usage based on user and application growth projections. Address and close audit findings related to server and network infrastructure. Administer backup solutions such as Veeam or Cohesity (preferred). Design and implement high availability (HA) solutions from both server and network perspectives. Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises focusing on server, network, and backup systems. Ensure adherence to security best practices throughout the infrastructure environment. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or extensive field experience in lieu. Extensive hands on experience of Windows/Linux servers administration in an enterprise environment Hands-on experience in the following: Windows/Linux administration Managengine Microsoft AD Administration is an advantage Veam or Cohesity Backup experience an advantage. Experience utilising and configuring Solarwinds, Dynatrace an advantage Experience with security EDR tools, DLP an advantage Strong understanding of networking Secondary ability to perform network administration is an advantage. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, VPN, LAN and WAN links. Ability to create accurate documentation including network/server diagrams and design/planning documents.
