The GL & Reconciliation specialist will be responsible to support the finance team in ensuring accurate and timely general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance with internal controls. The role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting month-end closing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality finance operations in line with company standard
  • Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of GL accounts, including balance sheet accounts, cash, accruals, intercompany, and fixed assets.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances, ensuring issues are addressed and documented in line with internal controls.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, etc.) to ensure accurate postings and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP as applicable) and company policies.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in accounting or GL reconciliation roles (experience in shared service centers or MNCs preferred).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
