Now it's your turn to serve the payment needs of organizations and people the world over.As a Principal Technical Consultant (OCM) in Malaysia, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to making possibilities happen in the payments industry!This purpose of this ROLE is:The purpose of the role is to ensure new and existing ACI customers receive a first-class delivery service following customer expectations and contractual agreements. Primarily responsible for the configuration, integration testing, and supporting User Acceptance testing of the customers using company products, outsourced solutions and proprietary tools. Defines customer needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Viewed by customers as a consultant. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours).A typical day at ACI for a Principal Technical Consultant is:

One of the highest-level individual contributors, analyzes client's business needs, integrates client's business strategies and recommends appropriate information technology solutions utilizing ACI's methodologies.
Conducts analysis of corporate objectives, critical success factors, business functions and processes.
Plans, integrates and manages the implementation of new technology.
As one of the highest-level technical experts, performs a variety of duties involved with supporting large, strategic and/or multiple projects.
Significantly supports the regional/product's business development and sales support efforts for a particular territory, industry or account.
Has superior technical and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of product set and business knowledge. Assists the customer with their implementation efforts as necessary to ensure successful product adoption.
Anticipates the implications and consequences of risks or business situations and take appropriate action to prepare for possible mitigation actions and or contingencies. Has the ability to identify information needed to clarify a risk or business situation, seeking that information from appropriate sources and use skilful questioning to draw out the information.
Acts as a mentor, coach or trainer to consultants by sharing business expertise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to ACI code of ethics and global information security.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant studies
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Strong technical skills in Online and Batch program coding and debugging
Understanding online transaction processing, worked on financial transaction switches (working knowledge of iEX/OCM24 an advantage).
Experience in inter-system and application interfaces in SNA and TCPIP connectivity.
Knowledge with transaction security, EMV; experience working with HSMs e.g. Thales, Atalla, Eracom, etc,
In-depth knowledge of ISO 8583 (1987 or 1993) message formats
Experience (preferably to have done certifications) with the global card schemes
e.g. VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, MEPS
Experience with CDM, CRM, ATM and POS device-driving
Understanding of project lifecycle, SDLC
Experience with Cobol, IBM Assembler, CICS program coding and CICS system configuration.
Experience in CICS system environment, online application design, problem determination and fixing.
Experience on the IBM mainframe platform
Knowledge & suitable experience with products utilizing Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) techniques.
