Role Overview: The Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, tasked with transforming global operations to achieve strategic growth and service excellence. The role integrates system-wide innovation, operational transformation, and stakeholder engagement to elevate performance, optimize resources, and scale impactful service delivery. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the CIO will lead enterprise-level initiatives to improve systems integration, certification frameworks, member experience, and market expansion across emerging and established regions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of end-to-end integrated operational systems that streamline certification, member support, data governance, and stakeholder engagement Oversee strategic evolution of internal digital platforms by focusing on user-centric design, operational efficiency, and data-driven performance tracking Develop interconnected, real-time service models that provide proactive, personalized member support across all operational regions Unify operational intelligence by eliminating silos and implementing a centralized, transparent data architecture Redesign certification and monitoring processes using data-informed decision-making to improve compliance and service delivery Enhance quality assurance systems aligned with sustainability principles and reduce variation in service execution Implement robust performance measurement systems that track effectiveness, impact, and value creation Manage vendor ecosystems strategically to expand operational capabilities and partnership outcomes Foster a culture of continuous improvement, embedding excellence frameworks and lean methodologies Build strategic partnerships with industry players, financiers, and global institutions to support sustainable growth and market transformation Transform digital learning platforms into adaptive, member-centric solutions to improve professional development engagement Standardize service delivery across regions while maintaining sensitivity to local operational requirements Spearhead strategic expansion and organizational transformation initiatives across key target regions (e.g., Japan, South Asia, Africa, Latin America) Develop and implement new business models and revenue strategies through service modularization, advisory offerings, and digital member matchmaking Qualifications: Master's degree in Operations Management, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, systems innovation, and organizational transformation Proven expertise in process design, quality frameworks, and operational leadership within non-profit, certification, or multi-stakeholder settings Background in sustainability, agriculture, food systems, or supply chain certification strongly preferred Advanced systems thinking with a track record in designing integrated quality systems and certification platforms Proficient in lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and human-centered service design methodologies Familiarity with enterprise systems and digital platforms from a strategic, non-technical lens Strong leadership in fostering innovation, managing organizational change, and building global, cross-functional teams Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in diverse and multicultural settings Experience collaborating with international partners, financial institutions, and strategic stakeholders Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
