ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Independently conduct legal drafting, review and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, employment and other legal related documents for the Group. 2. Lead and/or support legal aspect of corporate projects including mergers & acquisitions, new investments and shareholders'/joint venture related and as when necessary. 3. Providing opinions or recommendations on wide ranges of legal and commercial issues related to transactional and commercial law, employment law, licensing, litigation and/or dispute, data privacy, regulatory and intellectual property for the Group. 4. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant licenses for the Group of companies. 5. Review all internal SOPs, policies of the company from time to time. 6. Designate internal governance strategies and monitor compliance on regular basis. 7. Advising on various regulatory and compliance matters across the Group. 8. Management of dispute resolution and debt recovery process. 9. Coordinate with business units and liaise with/managing the external counsels. 10. Provide relevant updates to the management and BOD on any changes of legislation and guidelines which might impact the company business and operation. 11. Legal and regulatory research work. JOB REQUIREMENT: 1. Qualification: A Bachelor's/ Master Degre in law from a recognized university. Admission to the Bar is preferred. 2. At least 7 years PQE in legal and compliance roles which includes experience in similar capacity across APAC region with exposure to multiple jurisdictions. 3. Strong legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills. 4. Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities. 5. Strong command of English and Bahasa Melayu (written and spoken).
