We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.The Sustainability Manager will support the implementation of Prudential’s sustainability strategy across local business units (LBUs), working closely with the Senior Manager, Business Development to coordinate on-the-ground initiatives. This role will focus on driving sustainability integration, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery, while ensuring alignment with Prudential’s global sustainability goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & DeliveryCoordinate and track Group-wide sustainability initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic prioritiesConduct research and analysis to support decision-making and generate actionable insightsContribute to transformation efforts by gathering data and supporting initiative design and deliveryLBU & Function EngagementPartner with LBUs to assess sustainability maturity, extract insights, and support local strategy executionMonitor LBU progress and prepare updates for internal reportingSupport communication of sustainability strategy across markets and functions through presentations preparation and coordinationAssist LBUs with local implementation, including developing training materials, guidelines, and hosting virtual clinicsContribute to embedding sustainability into annual business processes such as 3 year business planEmployee Engagement & CommunicationCollaborate with Corporate Affairs and internal teams to develop sustainability communications for platforms like Viva Engage and 1-PruCreate engaging content tailored to different internal audiencesSupport the development of briefing materials for consultations, investor meetings, and eventsAssist in preparing training and engagement materials for senior leadershipTrack and report on sustainability progress (financial and non-financial), highlighting impact and outcomesSustainability Team SupportCoordinate activities related to the Sustainability Center of Excellence (CoE) operating modelTrack project progress and support reporting against team objectives and public commitmentsMaintain a repository of sustainability narratives, LBU intelligence, and internal messagingContribute to a high-performing team culture by supporting agile, collaborative ways of workingHelp roll out the CoE across LBUs, including organizing hub calls and informal engagement sessionsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility, or related fields, ideally within financial or professional services.Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency in AI tools (e.g., Copilot), design tools (e.g., Canva), and social platforms (e.g., Instagram).Excellent communication skills, with experience in delivering impactful internal and external messaging.Key CompetenciesHighly organized and agile, with a proactive and adaptive approach to business challenges.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong presentation and communication skillsEffective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.Creative thinker and team player with a collaborative mindset.Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.Experienced in collaborating across diverse cultural backgroundsPrudential is an equal opportunity employer.
