Position: Quantity SurveyorResponsibilities:
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:Examine and review construction plans to prepare accurate quantity requirements.
Estimate costs for materials, labor, and other project expenses from inception to completion.
Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Collaboration and Communication:Liaise and work collaboratively with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Foster effective communication to ensure smooth project execution.Documentation and Reporting:Gather and prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other relevant documents.
Forward necessary information to appropriate management or personnel.
Contract Management:Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts, to secure the best deals.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Risk Assessment:Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Monitor project progress and address any deviations promptly.Objectives:
