- Be responsible for initial medical care, medical screening, and health education of employees
- Be Responsible for all medical records, including individual employee health records
- Render Occupational Health service or first aid to employees who become ill or reported work-related injury /illness in company premises
- Develop professional expertise; apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
- Work on moderate scope problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of various factors
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Build productive working relationships internally and externally
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
- Provides Annual Medical Surveillance for personnel defined
- Provides support in the process of medical leaves of absence review
- Review potentially work-related cases with Global EHS to finalize classification
- Refer to Safety Data Sheet for potential employee exposure to chemicals
- Assist in maintaining the health facility in an orderly, clean, and sanitary condition
- Provide support in the OH Program process e.g., Communicable/Infection Management program, Employees fit to duty, Food hygiene and Safety, etc
- Determine / comply with local regulatory reporting and do regular follow up until case closure
- Registered Nurses certified with current practicing license by the local Nursing Board, Ministry of Health
- Preferably with Occupational Health Nurse certification
- Fluent in speaking, listening, writing and reading Bahasa Malaysia & English (required)
- Encourage positive attitude towards EHS team
- Develop and maintain relevant knowledge of EHS matters
- Excellent interpersonal skills and people skills allowing to motivate, cooperate and work effectively with others and support the site service level expectation
- Demonstrate proficiency in clinical interventions, including history taking and all aspects of the medical examination as required based on standards of medical practices.
- Working accountability and service-minded mindset
- IT Savvy (Microsoft office)
- Able to work under pressure
- At least 1 to 3 years experiences working in hospital settings preferably in Accident & Emergency Department or Surgical Unit
- Experience to provide on-site medical service in Factory environment (Full time or part-time)
- Experiences the management system of the following standard:
- ISO 45001
- RBA
- Able to work as a shift nurse
