Job Description:Cohu's Semiconductor Test Group delivers leading edge technology to some of the largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world. We are looking for experienced Product Coordinator to join our Program Management Office (PMO) to drive supply chain material planning and other program logistics for our cutting-edge products during their development cycles (from start to volume production). This individual has excellent communication skills, self-driven, great negotiator, can handle multiple projects at the same time and is comfortable to work with individuals across Cohu organization to get high priority tasks done. They are diligent in assisting their teams in meeting commitments.Responsibilities:
  • Manages the logistics of new product development from start to release to manufacturing & volume production.
  • Core key member of cross-functional development team
  • Owner of material planning and tracking (i.e. PR) - interact frequently with key stakeholders to drive progress and provide adequate visibility to critical information.
  • Drive resolution of any risks and issues from supply chain (i.e. demand, lead times, cost increases, shortages etc.) that have significant impact on the schedule and cost to new product development.
  • Point of contact for the engineering teams with the internal supply-chain stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal supply-chain reps to ensure material forecasts and commitments are achieved as planned.
  • Drive the team to make decisions for manufacturing and production demand readiness on new products including planning long term forecasts, purchase order readiness, inventory build requirements/readiness.
  • Good understanding of Cohu standard processes/procedures, tools, stakeholders such he/she guides the team to meet those requirements (i.e. PDP process, QMS procedures/ISO, Release to Manufacturing, Pre-release sampling etc)
  • Support in areas such as ROI, COGS, MS schedule by collecting, compiling, and accurately maintaining the data during development stages.
  • Support PDP checklist completeness - for its proper on time documentation and approval sign off.
  • Provide financial reports and status updates to Program Manager, Financial Rep, and other stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement agent - looks for ways to streamline processes, remove barriers and become more efficient in the processes and procedures being used.
Requirements:
  • +5 years of experience in new product logistics/planning in semiconductor industry or manufacturing.
  • Experience with HW Bill of Materials (BOM), Cost of Goods (COGS) drivers and assembly/manufacturing requirements/processes.
  • Experience in operations/supply chain processes, interacting with different stakeholders in the chain and understanding the requirements that are relevant to the new products developments.
  • Experience with contractors, subcon internal/external vendors management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and familiar with product development phases.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and a proven ability to effectively interact with multiple layers of management and across organization/departments.
  • Proven experience to handle multiple projects at same time, prioritize and follow through on key commitments.
  • Very organized and strong time-management skills.
  • Proactive.
  • Demonstrates good analytical skills; planning and communicating what is relevant - pull from noise what is important.
  • Ability to remain positive even under pressure.
  • Agent for continues process improvement, such as “capable of identifying improvement opportunities proactively/independently and enabling incremental progress with the team.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience with supply chain, logistics, planning, or a similar field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud or ERP systems.
