About the job Sales and Product TrainerOur client is a well known MNC automotive company and due to their business expansion , they are looking for trainers who can conduct sales and product training.FacilitationDeliver sales and product training facilitation activities in accordance with the Company's Standards demonstrating that you:
  • Are prepared for the training session; with all materials, resources including the set up of the training room, tools, equipments and vehicles for training.
  • Know the materials well enough not to overly rely on trainer's guide, PowerPoint and brochures.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills (i.e. uses appropriate tone, pitch, volume, body language and eye contact). Uses different delivery mediums (PowerPoint, Brochure, activities, role plays, open discussion, videos, FAQs, case studies).
  • Illustrate ideas with examples, storytelling and role modelling behaviour.
  • Confirm learner understanding through clearly phased open questions. Encourage learners to participate in discussions and activities; provide learner feedback.
  • Administer and collect learner evaluations and reflect on own delivery style and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all training and facilitation activities are performed incorporating all technical or product specific standards, processes and business initiatives.
  • Provide Trainer based evaluations regarding programme outcomes with a view to assisting in the development of strategies for continuous improvement.
Solutions Support
  • Evaluate facilitation of all training interventions looking for opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist in trialling and developing new methods, technologies, solutions and frameworks.
  • Provide specific inputs and adaptation, functional, technical and operational information to assist in the development of training activities and contents to meet local or market requirements.
  • Provide feedback from the field experiences when dealing with the distributor/dealership in the region.
  • Work collaboratively with the Instructional Designers to assist with the design and delivery of training programs and activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of training materials and tools, including the translation of materials and/or review of translations where necessary.
Work Relationships
  • Provide support to the Training Manager , in any required tasks.
  • Work in a supportive and collaborative manner with own internal team.
  • Maintain relationships at the highest level with internal and external markets/distributors, consultants and supplier personnel.
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships within the region.
Self-Development
  • Actively participate in TTT events, pilot sessions, personal development activities and workshops.
  • Actively participate in activities aimed at maintaining the competency of all qualifications and skill levels and up skilling as required. Keep a regular track of developments in related fields with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Take the lead and work with the internal training teams to be upskilled on the latest software applications and tools to execute assignments.
  • Keep up to date on the performance of the industry in general and do own research to ensure that training contents are kept abreast with the latest industry developments.
Administration
  • Provide all evaluations, reports, feedback and any other required documentation timeously to the Training Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with the Training Manager to develop schedules and calendars to ensure that training delivery times are maximised and related costs are minimised.
  • Where required participate in regular WIP (work in progress) reviews with the relevant team members to offer feedback on specific issues and progress. Participate in regular Cross Functional WIP (work in progress) reviews with other team members to offer feedback on training specific issues and progress.
