- A Customer Support Translator who is proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese typically has a crucial role in bridging the language gap between the company and its Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking customers.
- Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.
- Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.
- Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
- Attends all required training.
- Maintains confidentiality as policies.
- Uses standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Uses MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Edge (or other internet browser).
- You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Customer Service or Helpdesk / Technical Support role.
