In this role at CelcomDigi, you will be part of the cost management function for Technology division to drive financial performance (not limited to CAPEX/OPEX/COGS) and strategic initiatives (not limited to OE, sourcing related activities supporting financial performance for Tech, strategic cost programs and reporting) within the finance function for a leading telecommunications company in Malaysia.Responsibilities:Advisory and Strategic Planning:Act as a strategic partner to the Technology leadership team, providing financial advice and recommendations to achieve business goals.Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute financial perspectives.Business Decision Support:Work closely with technology leaders to understand their business objectives and provide financial insights to support decision-making.Evaluate technology projects and initiatives, assessing their financial viability and impact on the overall business strategy.Performance Management:Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance.Assist, develop and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technology investments.Identify trends and opportunities for optimization to enhance overall financial performance.Cost Management:Drive cost-effective strategies within the Technology department to ensure efficient resource allocation.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for cost optimization in alignment with strategic goals.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with other business partners and departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall company objectives.Provide financial support for cross-functional projects and initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, Accounting, Business or a related field.6 - 10 year of experience preferred.
