We are currently seeking Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. About The Job Contribute productively on project execution and work closely with peers/lead to deliver excellent results. Capable to perform detailed engineering activities (calculations) and keen awareness to design drawings (SLD, schematics, layouts drawings, MTOs) Able to perform procurement engineering activities. Make alignment in technical requirement for compliance with tender specifications, data sheets, etc. Work efficiently and effectively within budgeted man-hour for each activity assigned. Job Main Challenges Knowledge of theoretical parameters of various electrical equipment and good understanding of specifications of electrical equipment. Capable of understanding Electrical network design calculations i.e. load flow, short circuit, transient, arc flash, earthing, etc. Awareness of power system Software's ETAP / SKM Power tools / CYME / CDEGS etc. Appreciation for equipment and bulk material cost. Main Accountabilities DESIGN BASIS, CODE & STANDARD Basic knowledge of International standards, Industrial standards and practices, ability to understand electrical equipments comply the standards requirement to meet project requirement Basic knowledge of Local Codes and standards and interpretation of the requirement to meet project requirement. Basic knowledge of Local laws and applicable regulatory requirements KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES: Took at least 2no. Electrical Engineering syllabus in final 2 years of graduate studies. Awareness to technical operation of electrical equipments (e.g. for transformers, switchgears, Cables, Motors, UPS etc.) Basic knowledge in electrical network calculations and system studies like load flow, voltage dips, short circuits, motor starting, transient stability etc. and hands on application with international softwares (e.g. ETAP, SKM Power tools, CYME, CDEGS etc.) will be advantages. OTHERS Good professional judgment, responsive and pro-active in execution of deliverables to meet project needs, and ability to handle difficult situations arise due to complexities of Project demand Produce quality engineering deliverables / service and meeting JV/ Client expectation Fulfill QA /QHSES aspects, with acceptable team-works About You The Candidate shall possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. Hons) accredited by Board of Engineer Malaysia or approved equivalent. Have previous work experience (part time etc.) or internship participation and evidence of transition from academic atmosphere to working environment. Possess the right mindset for success and determination to carry it out. Be willing to travel and station at various Engineering Operating Centers / Client Office on needs basis (for overseas assignment) Exhibit and maintain good relationship with peers/colleagues.
