Accounts Admin Department: Accounts & Finance Location: Malaysia Reports to: Group Financial Controller Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: RM1,900 - RM2,800 per month Expected Start Date: 1st September 2025 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Admin to support our finance team with administrative and accounting tasks. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by maintaining accurate records and assisting with documentation related to financial activities across outlets. Key Responsibilities 1. Administrative Support Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records Perform data entry, scanning, and administrative duties for finance processes Track and organize financial documents from outlets and suppliers 2. Basic Accounting Assistance Prepare and check payment vouchers, staff claims, and petty cash submissions Assist with invoice tracking and follow-up on pending documentation Provide support in reconciling sales and expenses 3. Internal Coordination Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and outlet staff on finance-related matters Support the finance team in preparing for audits and month-end activities Requirements Minimum SPM or Diploma in Business Administration/Accounting 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred (fresh graduates encouraged) Basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documents Languages: English/Bahasa (required), Mandarin (preferred) 2. Junior Accounts Executive Department: Accounts & Finance Location: Malaysia Reports to: Group Financial Controller Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: RM2,000 - RM3,400 per month Expected Start Date: 1st September 2025 Job Summary We are hiring a motivated Junior Accounts Executive to assist with daily accounting functions and financial reporting. This role supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple F&B outlets. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting Operations Process daily transactions including AP, AR, and petty cash Assist in reconciliation of POS data with outlet collections and bank statements Record journal entries and support documentation 2. Month-End Closing Assist with monthly financial closing and preparation of reports Prepare supporting schedules and basic variance reports 3. Tax & Compliance Support Help prepare SST documentation and ensure proper filing Support the team during audits and other regulatory requirements Requirements Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (F&B experience is a plus) Familiar with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, AutoCount, SQL) Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines Languages: English/Bahasa (required), Mandarin (preferred) 3. The role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Operations Handle full sets of accounts: AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations Review and verify daily outlet sales, petty cash, and supplier invoices Monitor payment cycles and ensure timely settlements 2. Month-End & Reporting Prepare monthly closing reports, journal entries, and financial schedules Assist in budget monitoring, cash flow tracking, and financial analysis 3. Inventory & Cost Management Collaborate with outlets for accurate stock data and perform COGS analysis Identify discrepancies and assist in reducing operational wastage 4. Compliance & Audit Ensure SST submissions and compliance with regulatory requirements Coordinate with auditors and tax agents during audit periods Requirements Degree in Accounting or Finance (part-qualified ACCA/MIA is a plus) 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in F&B or hospitality Proficient in accounting systems and Excel (e.g., Quickbooks, AutoCount, SQL) Strong understanding of Malaysian tax and financial reporting standards Languages: English/Bahasa (required), Mandarin (preferred) 4. Assistant Accounts Manager Department: Accounts & Finance Location: Malaysia Reports to: Group Financial Controller & Managing Director Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: RM4,000 - RM7,000 per month Expected Start Date: 1 September 2025 Job Summary We are hiring a capable and detail-driven Assistant Accounts Manager to support the finance leadership team. This role oversees daily financial operations, manages reporting, and ensures compliance and internal control for a growing F&B business. Key Responsibilities 1. Daily Financial Oversight Supervise full sets of accounts and reconciliations for all outlets Monitor outlet sales reports, POS data, and petty cash handling Review supplier documentation and approve payment processes 2. Month-End Closing & Reporting Lead month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and internal reporting Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow analysis 3. Costing & Inventory Support Track and review cost of goods sold (COGS) Coordinate with outlets on inventory accuracy and stocktaking Identify cost-reduction opportunities and operational inefficiencies 4. Compliance & Audit Ensure proper documentation and compliance with SST and tax regulations Assist in statutory reporting and external audit coordination 5. Team & Process Management Supervise junior team members and support skills development Improve internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Collaborate with HR and Operations on finance-related tasks Requirements Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/MIA/CIMA is a plus) 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the F&B sector Strong knowledge of SST, payroll, and Malaysian reporting standards Leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional coordination Proficient in accounting systems and Excel (e.g., Quickbooks, AutoCount, SQL) Strong understanding of Malaysian tax and financial reporting standards Languages: English/Bahasa (required), Mandarin (preferred) Benefits Health insurance Maternity leave Work Schedule Monday to Friday Show more Show less
