Senior Network Engineer

• Enforce and manage the IT network appliance and its operation to ensure minimal downtime.
• Manage implementation of continuous IT network enhancement and maintenance to deliver seamless IT experience to internal and external users.
• Assist in monitor the procurement and vendor service delivery to ensure quality and cost effectiveness of the ICT infrastructure and services.
• Assist in providing a work environment that is motivating; identify high potential employees for succession planning and recommend development needs as required.
• Monitor routine daily maintenance of existing IT network infrastructure and generate network statistical report based on PSMB's business requirement.
• Liaise with network vendors to resolve network issues, errors, perform upgrade and implementation on the IT infrastructure.
• Educate internal user on the new and current network knowledge and awareness.
• Manage and monitor multiple IT projects management to ensure alignment of business requirement and secure IT systems implementations which meet the end users' needs.
• Assist in monitoring actual expenditure against budget and undertake appropriate control measures to ensure operations are conducted effectively and efficiently within approved budget.
• Designing functional network infrastructure.
• Mentor team members on technical issues.
• Undertake other such reasonable duties as required by the Management.

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Experience and knowledge of system, network application, concepts and technologies, Information network engineering in Cisco and HP environment, Disaster Recovery implementation and maintenance.
• Knowledge and hands on of LAN/WAN networking concepts, Internet edge configuration, strong understanding of TCP/IP, sub netting, routing, access control lists, Site-to-Site and Client VPN, NAT and network traffic analysis, VLANs, FTP & STP, Port Channel, IDS/IPS, DDoS, Internal & External DNS, network switches, Wi-fi AP and Controller and DMZ.
• Knowledge and hands on of networking concepts, firewalls, NetFlow, Web Filter, Mail Filter, WAN Load Balancer and Server Load Balancer.
• Knowledge and experience on the IT Audit, forensic and investigation.
• Knowledge and hands on of production, development, testing and training environment.
• Problem solving, critical thinking, operation analysis and monitoring skills.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• 5 - 6 years of experience with extensive exposure in IT Networking
