Care to be a part of this revolution?About this roleThis role provides excellent people services to our Klookers globally, ensuring compliance with local regulations whilst continually improving our people processes to create a positive impact to our employee experience.You will report to our Manager for People Infrastructure and Operations. The ideal candidate should be experienced in HR operations, have a strong sense of accountability and be a strong driver for continuous improvement.About People & CultureWe're shooting for the stars… and we need the right people to get there. We make Klook a fantastic place to work for our diverse workforce by shaping our culture, cultivating a great employee experience and providing opportunities to learn and explore new skills.What you'll doProvide HR operational support for Malaysia local market to manage the entire employee lifecycle - including onboarding, contracts, visas, payroll, benefits, tax, insurance, people movements (job changes/ employee transfers) and offboarding - whilst ensuring local compliance and ensuring a consistent employee experience.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely, accurate and appropriate advice on people processes and HR related topicsManage and process HR documentation, including employment letters, visa applications, and work permit renewals, ensuring compliance with local regulations and timely submissionResponsible for managing and administering the Workday system, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and efficient utilizationChampion data integrity and confidentiality, and manage accuracy and maintenance of key employee data. Ensure transactional operations and record maintenance are accurate and efficient by executing or implementing regular quality checks on workflows for proper control and audit measuresEnsure people operation SOPs, business processes and regulatory/compliance requirements are updated and documentedWhat you'll needBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related fieldsA minimum of 2-3 year(s) of experience in HR operationsGood knowledge of local labour lawHigh learning agility, can-do attitude, detail-oriented and a good team playerStrong communication skills (verbal/written) in English is mandatory for liaison with global stakeholders, and the ability to converse in Mandarin will be an advantage.A proven ability to prioritise, manage time, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Prior experience and demonstrated proficiency in managing and administering the Workday system would be a strong advantageStrong excels skills would be an advantageA start-up attitude - highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, 'roll-up-your sleeves' attitudeHappy to work independently when requiredKlook is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
