As a Financial Reporting Specialist at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong understanding of financial reporting principles and regulations. You'll need to be able to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and anomalies, and provide insights to stakeholders. You'll also need to be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial reports are accurate and complete.What you do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial and regulatory reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, reporting to BNM, PIDM and MAS.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and anomalies
- Providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial and regulatory reports are accurate and complete
- Maintaining and updating financial and regulatory reporting systems and processesWho you are
- A degree in accounting or finance is required, best to have Accounting professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MICPA, MIA)
- 3 years of experience in financial and regulatory reporting is preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and regulatory reporting requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in financial reporting software and systemsWho we are
