ROLE OVERVIEW The IMU Centre for Lifelong Learning (ICL) is looking for a proactive and organised part-time team member to support the delivery of its professional development programmes. This role involves assisting with event and classroom management, coordinating trainer and participant needs, and supporting marketing activities. Essentially the candidate will be important for the smooth execution of lifelong learning initiatives. The role affords the position holder a unique opportunity to explore the end to end operational aspects of event and training management, and exposure to a wide range of clientele and professional development opportunities. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Programme & Event Operations Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of ICL programmes (in-person, hybrid, or online). Set up and manage classrooms, registration tables, AV equipment, and materials. Support online delivery of programmes via Zoom or similar platforms. Ensure smooth flow of events and serve as the on-ground point of contact for trainers and participants. 2. Trainer & Learner Engagement Coordinate with trainers on session logistics, materials, and scheduling needs. Support trainer onboarding and orientation where needed. Conduct post-training evaluations and compile feedback reports. 3. Administrative & Reporting Support Maintain attendance records, feedback data, and training documentation. Assist in the preparation of post-event reports and summaries. Support certificate issuance and learner communications. JOB REQUIREMENT Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Education, Business Administration, Communication, or related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Well versed in the Microsoft and Google suite of applications. Well-organised, dependable, and able to work independently and in a team. Experience in event or classroom coordination is an added advantage.
