About The Role As a Product Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of digital products - including websites, applications, and other digital properties -within a specific business channel. You will be accountable for driving product strategy, ensuring functional excellence, and delivering solutions that meet both business and user needs. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate across all levels of the organization, including IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, to ensure seamless communication and alignment. You will also be responsible for managing third-party vendors, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to timelines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to succeed in this highly collaborative role. Job Responsibilities Product Management Develop and maintain digital product roadmaps aligned with overall business strategy, focusing on delivering high-quality, innovative features that drive user adoption and meet business objectives. Own the full product lifecycle-from concept to delivery-ensuring timely execution and alignment with channel goals. Lead project management efforts for your product, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliverables. Engage and influence business stakeholders to prioritize product demand in alignment with software engineering capacity. Oversee end-to-end system implementation and execution. Create detailed product specifications that reflect business needs, user experience (UI/UX) considerations, and technical feasibility, in collaboration with IT and development teams. Manage comprehensive testing processes, including user feedback, functionality validation, and delivery assurance. Develop business cases and manage project financials throughout the product lifecycle. Monitor and evaluate product performance post-launch, using data-driven insights to refine and optimize future releases. Stakeholder Management Prioritize and manage business demands based on value generation and resource availability across business units. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and cross-divisional managers to ensure consistent and credible solution delivery. Collaborate with vendors, business partners, and Group IT to ensure flexible and effective delivery models. Communicate product developments and updates to cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and coordinate with Helpdesk and Planning teams to ensure smooth end-user communication and support readiness. Strategic Planning Define and drive mid- to long-term strategic plans for the product portfolio, aligning with IT and business priorities. Champion a culture of cost-efficient, agile, and scalable IT solution delivery. Establish and promote policies, standards, and best practices to build a center of excellence for digital product management. People Development & Management Lead, attract, and retain top talent to build strategic and operational capabilities within the team. Set clear goals and direction, translating strategy into actionable plans. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, nurturing future leaders and high performers. Promote a mindset of quality and process excellence across the team. Optimize resource planning and utilization to meet business demands effectively. Coach and mentor team members to enhance both technical and soft skills. Drive performance management and individual development plans in alignment with IT strategic goals. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in web, app, or technical product management. At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in service or servicing functions. Strong understanding of digital innovation, with the ability to translate vision and ideas into practical solutions within existing constraints. Hands-on execution capability is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization. Solid grasp of the product management lifecycle and best practices for web and application development. Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with various development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and a sound understanding of common software development practices.
