Responsible for the preparation of companies' financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual closing of books in a timely and accurate manner with sufficient information and analysis; Oversee all operational accounting matters and ensure that books and records are accurately and fairly stated following the appropriate accounting standards. Ensuring general ledgers and control accounts are reconciled to all sub-systems; Guide and monitor progress in all financial operation matters including clearing of all bank reconciliations, monitoring accounts receivables and payables accounts and ensuring payments are complied to SOPs and limit of authority; Establish policies, procedures, internal controls and accounting systems on finance operations; Play active roles in the work transformation of the department to meet timey reporting, work efficiency and financial information accuracy; Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax requirements; Timely attendance to annual tax submissions and play key role in addressing of tax-related concerns for the Group and support on Transfer Pricing documentation; Co-ordinate and work closely with external auditors for a timely annual audit exercise. Ensure corrective and processes are implemented from findings of external and internal audits and addressing of all key issues on timely basis; Ensuring the annual budgets are prepared and submitted on time for tabling to BOD for approval, and constantly monitoring of the budget as measures of cost and benefits controls; Oversee on the whole commission/ incentive system ensuring timely and accurate payouts. Also play active role in evaluating the compensation changes proposed by Marketing Team, and ensure the concept paper is fair and reasonable to protect bottom line while driving for higher sales performance; Play key role in the formulation of Marketing & Operational department's annual incentive proposals and outsource manager's remuneration package; Play key role in supporting of all Group corporate exercise(s) including dealing with external consultants; Play key role in providing essential financial information to the Management for strategic decision making including the support on cost controls initiatives; Periodical liaison and build strong working relationship with trustees, actuarial valuers, consultants to meet Group's requirements on the related deliverables; Managing the team and mentoring their growth to achieve a higher work efficiencies and productivity; Play an active joint role with the Head of Finance in overseeing day-to-day operations of the Finance & Accounts Department; Carry out other appropriate related works of the Finance Department and ad-hoc assignments as delegated by the Superior or Senior Management. Requirements: Possess Bachelor's Degree with a professional qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ MICPA); Minimum 10 years relevant experience in handling finance operations and managing a team of not less than 10 staff; Experience with SAP ERP System, auditing and Microsoft Office applications; Extensive knowledge in Malaysia corporate tax structure and regulations, good understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements; Knowledge of MFRS and IFRS; Strong leadership skill, ability to work with senior leaders, good team player and self-motivated individual; Strong communication skill and interpersonal skill, proactive towards ensuring all stakeholders are kept fully informed on progress and issues in a timely manner; Strong analytical skill, highly organized with ability to offer solutions and alternatives from an operation perspective to achieve operation efficiency; Possesses a strong desire to learn and improve. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast and rapidly changing environment and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
