- Develop and execute security plans to meet company business objectives and to ensure security plans are reviewed on an ongoing basis considering the changes in the Company's needs or directions.
- Review, implement, and maintain effective security policy, procedures, and practices to ensure safety and protection of personnel, assets, information, and business operational activities.
- Plan and conduct security enquiries, investigations, and reviews of security/ SOBC/ whistle-blowing activities.
- Co-ordinate Risk and Crisis Management processes to ensure that proactive assessment of, planning for and management of Risks and Crises are carried out within the Company.
- Assist the End Market/Area/Business Unit Head of AIT to mitigate security risks to personnel and assets.
- Provide timely security updates and advice to the Leadership Team on all matters concerning security threats or business interruptions involving security related matters.
- Supervise security situation and take proactive measures to minimize security risk to the business which are commensurate to the multifaceted business and security environment.
- Assess, evaluate, plan and arrange third party security vendors (e.g. CCTV vendors, GPS tracking vendors) and fire services on a needs' basis. Supervise the efficiency of contractual services and review service scopes.

- Actively lead the standard of excellence in delivery of Security outcomes.
- Leverage knowledge & skills across the SEA to help build a more resilient, capable, and proficient group of Security personal within Malaysia and Singapore.
- Leverage previous functional experience (understanding of consumers / customers / suppliers / stakeholders) to make sure decisions made are in the best interests of the business.
- Recognize and leverage the best Security ideas and outcomes crafted by our people in SEA.
- Professional qualification of military/ and/or police institution (staff college/ defense college or equivalent) and formal qualification in security management. (Market specific).
- At least 10 years' experience in a leadership/management role.
- Relevant experience in leading and developing a team.
- In depth, extensive knowledge of security management, with previous experience in law enforcement or military service or corporate security in the private sector.
- Ability to identify and address key security issues to support strategic business needs.
- Be capable of encouraging and mobilising resources to acquire and collate detail on all potential threats to the Company.
