Introduction Curia Regis is a professional regulatory compliance services firm dedicated on assisting regulated financial institutions in Singapore with their initial and ongoing regulatory obligations under the MAS' purview. We are seeking a highly motivated, driven and results-oriented individual to join our growing dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role is as follows: 1. You will be our Operations Associate based in Kuala Lumpur. 2. You have a background in accounting//finance. 3. You are familiar with financial reporting and audits and would be eager to embark on a career in the regulatory compliance space, focused on one of the world's leading markets in finance. General Responsibilities a) Actively support the Operations and Compliance teams with their deliverables, which includes production of regulatory compliance documents; b) Assist with carrying out AML/CFT screening, including filtering out of false positives; c) Assist with population of MAS reports, including regulatory submissions and surveys; d) Maintain data integrity and confidentiality; e) Identify and correct data entry errors; f) Ensure data accuracy in accordance to regulatory definitions, and remove duplications; g) Generate reports and summaries from regulatory data; h) Assist with data migration projects and testing of financial reporting automation; i) Other ad-hoc duties as required. Specific skillsets we are looking for are as follows : a) Good comprehension of regulatory language; b) Meticulous and has keen attention to detail; c) Ability to understand and disseminate information clearly and succinctly; and d) Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis; e) Highly proficient with Microsoft365, specifically with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Additional attributes that would be a plus point: a) Self-motivated and driven, resourceful, but also works well in a team environment; b) Genuine curiosity and keenness to learn; and c) Positive attitude; d) Ability to speak Mandarin fluently Any existing experience within audit/regulatory compliance and/or project managing large amounts of data is a benefit as well.
