Currently, there are 2 main products, one is air conditioners as original business and another one is compressors. The company has over 40 years of experience in Malaysia and exports its products to over 121 countries worldwide . Besides, the factory occupies an area of about 200,000 square meters and is equipped with the latest equipment from Japan. Putting together the most up-to-date technology, its rotary compressors are highly appraised for their compactness and light weight, while being highly efficient and reliable. Also with the variety in the product line up, their compressors are widely used around the world in air conditioners. Job Position: Maintenance Assistant Manager or Manager Job Description - Supervise and lead all maintenance operations by scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning work orders and proactive maintenance tasks. - Manage resources in the maintenance operations. - Establish, implement, and maintain maintenance procedures. - Perform inspections and oversight of maintenance work to ensure quality. - Maintain all machineries to ensure the operation ability is at the working standards. - Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance. Promote cost reduction through Mean Time Before Failure (M.T.B.R) and Mean Time to Repair (M.T.T.R) improvement and others. - Establish and maintain business plan for maintenance operations. - Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining equipment reliability. - Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan. - Set Performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members, includes supervise and mentor maintenance technicians. .Might go to business trip to Japan once a year if department needs to see new machinery, but this is potential case and not must go (Other members can replace). DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE MUST-TO-HAVE: - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent - Around 7-10 years working experience in managing or supervising machine maintenance operations in automotive manufacturing - Possess good organizational skills for managing tasks, coordinating resources to ensure smooth operation in production floor - Knowledge of facility maintenance and equipment upkeep especially in preventive maintenance activity - Understanding financial principle, budgeting, and forecasting skills for managing resources efficiently and making informed decisions to achieve financial targets PREFER-TO-HAVE: - Japanese Language Proficiency Personality Requirement: - Collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional team to achieve operation goals - Strong problem-solving ability to analyze complex situations, identify issues and develop effective solutions - The ability to think analytically to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency - Effective verbal and written communication to convey information and collaborate with teams and interact with production line ...
