- Ensure compliance for water flow in factories from sourcing to treatment
- Drive efficiency in water systems and support achievement of water reduction targets.
- Address water scarcity and maintain water quality across operations.
- Design water and wastewater treatment systems for new and existing projects.
- Within the area of influence, ensure adequate Engineering Capability through technical competence building, succession planning, expert networking and communications. Identify talents within or outside the company. Support and contribute to corporate strategies and standard definition.
- Develop internal and external networks. Represent Nestlé in regional conferences and other regional organism or associations defining regulations.
- Assess new processes & technologies, support their deployment and integration. Support, review & challenge the development of zero water use (Reduce Reuse Recycle). Watch environmental regulatory developments and new technologies.
- Contribute to the definition of procurement strategy at regional and local level for the different areas (water, wastewater, Legionella risk assessment)
- Ensure projects are delivered and executed right the first time in a cost effective and qualitative manner.
- Provide expertise to the relevant Technical Competency Units on the area of expertise during the development of new product lines.
- People safety, food safety, quality and environment: Ensure compliance to standards for the different domains during project phases.
- Wide knowledge about water treatment and boiler, cooling tower water chemistry
- knowledge of quality control of the food grade drink water and industrial water
- Understanding of corrosion management , control scheme and methodology
- Recognised competence in water system design and management for industry inside and outside Nestlé.
- Minimum 10 years design, installation and/or management of water systems, preferably in the food manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years of water and or waster water Projects Management (Large systems with processes and distributions).
- Minimum 3 years field experience, driving or supporting water management expertise and successful deploying water and/or waste water technologies or solutions across different products categories.
- Participation in optimisation/continuous improvement initiatives within multi-disciplinary teams (Energy Target Setting, etc.).
- General Personnel Supervision experience (mainly on technical teams).
- Participation in the development of Nestlé major engineering projects, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participation in Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, commissioning and start-up of water / wastewater systems technical equipment(s).
- Experience or exposure to different environments (different businesses, factories, etc.), through missions, projects, expatriation, experience outside Nestlé, etc.
- Training experience (hands-on and classroom).
- Tracked record of successful innovations or initiatives.
