- Manage contract administration, cost management and cost control at pre and post contract for developments/projects within Business Unit(s)
- Manage and Lead contract administration, cost management and cost control at pre and post contract for developments/ projects within Business Unit(s)strategy
- Ensure all the product design and material specifications are within reasonable cost data range and approved budget
- Lead in cost management at pre contract and cost control during the implementation stage
- Analyse and update cost data manual of tendered projects and establishes cost trends and directions for business decision
- Coordinate with Tender team during tendering and awarding process as per agreed timeline and cost.
- Review and verify the Requisition Form for TCS/Maintenance works and appointment of Contractors and ensure within the limit of authority
- Monitors and ensure the execution of contract documents and rationalization of rates within reasonable period and SOP
- Verify and approve the Payment Advice (CPA) to Contractors and Consultants for 1st payment and at stage of CPC/CMGD/Financial Certificate as per the SOP authorization
- Verify variation orders and extension of time (EOT) forms based on the contract provision and SOP for Management’s approval
- Track, manage and report all construction cost variation orders and extension of time and ensure that the necessary approval process is obtained timely
- Advise on the contractual matters during the implementation of contracts
- Ensure that final account documentation is complied with within twelve (12) months from certificate of
- Practical Completion (CPC) and table to the relevant approving committees Provide necessary input for tender paper i.e.VO approval to be presented in the management meeting
- Conduct market intelligence and provide key insight on industry cost benchmark and impact (especially on materials and services)
- Lead in driving the utilization of procurement systems and tool in executing the procurement activities
- Collaborates with township and relevant Department on costing/budget for Annual Operating Plan
- Coach and develop team members and ensure effectiveness and efficiency in delivery of business results
- 6-8 years of relevant working experience in Property Development Industry
- Registered Member of Board of QS Malaysia (BQSM) or Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM)
