In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimising the supply chain and ensuring a smooth flow of goods from suppliers to retail outlets.Inventory Management:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring stock availability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to forecast demand and manage replenishment strategies.
  • Implement efficient inventory control procedures to minimise stock-outs and overstock situations.
Order Fulfilment:
  • Coordinate the order fulfilment process, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to optimise order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or shipping delays.
Shipping and Receiving:
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to negotiate favourable shipping rates and terms.
  • Manage the receiving process, including inspections and accurate recording of goods received.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Logistics Manager and cross-functional teams to streamline logistics operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the warehouse staff, ensuring a high level of productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the logistics team.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Utilise data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on logistics activities, performance metrics, and cost analysis.
Compliance:
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and environmental standards.
A renowned retail MNC |Fast moving environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a retail setting.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using logistics and inventory management software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
