In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimising the supply chain and ensuring a smooth flow of goods from suppliers to retail outlets.Inventory Management:

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring stock availability.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to forecast demand and manage replenishment strategies.
Implement efficient inventory control procedures to minimise stock-outs and overstock situations.

Order Fulfilment:

Coordinate the order fulfilment process, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
Work closely with the warehouse team to optimise order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or shipping delays.

Shipping and Receiving:

Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate with logistics partners to negotiate favourable shipping rates and terms.
Manage the receiving process, including inspections and accurate recording of goods received.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Logistics Manager and cross-functional teams to streamline logistics operations.
Provide guidance and support to the warehouse staff, ensuring a high level of productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the logistics team.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilise data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports on logistics activities, performance metrics, and cost analysis.

Compliance:

Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and environmental standards.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a retail setting.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using logistics and inventory management software.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
