- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring stock availability.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to forecast demand and manage replenishment strategies.
- Implement efficient inventory control procedures to minimise stock-outs and overstock situations.
- Coordinate the order fulfilment process, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to optimise order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or shipping delays.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to negotiate favourable shipping rates and terms.
- Manage the receiving process, including inspections and accurate recording of goods received.
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager and cross-functional teams to streamline logistics operations.
- Provide guidance and support to the warehouse staff, ensuring a high level of productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the logistics team.
- Utilise data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports on logistics activities, performance metrics, and cost analysis.
- Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and environmental standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a retail setting.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using logistics and inventory management software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
