The Associate Editor also identifies opportunities to refine methodology, research new markets, develop contacts within those markets and launch new price assessments with the goal to advance growth in the Chemicals team.What We're Looking For:Required Skills:BA degree or higherExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of role types and personalities, internally and externallySelf-starter mindset with effective problem-solving skillsResearch abilitiesAbility to perform well under tight deadlinesExcellent English speaking and writing skills, Business level mandarin would be an advantageCulturally and socially sensitiveStrong command of written and spoken English; fluency in Mandarin, or other regionally important languages is an advantagePreferred Qualifications:We are looking to hire candidates with two to five years of reporting/writing/analytical/editorial/industry experience. We are happy to consider candidates with less experienceExperience or knowledge of the chemicals, polymer or refining sectors or a keen interest in commodities and global commodity marketsKnowledge of economic principlesStrong numeracy skills including the ability to understand the basic principles of statistics and to apply basic maths functions in ExcelFluency in Mandarin, or other regionally important languages is an advantageGrade/Level (relevant for internal applicants only): 9About S&P Global Commodity Insights
