...Randstad is partnering with one of the leading regional private equity fund manager headquartered in Singapore, with a strong presence in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Focused on the lower mid-market & mid-market space, this client manages a diverse portfolio of businesses across various sectors in Southeast Asia.Position Description: As a Senior Associate within the Value Creation Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and transformation programs for portfolio companies. Working closely with senior executives, you will serve as a mentor, coach, and strategic advisor. Your responsibilities will include:Post-transaction support: Act as a "sparring partner" to portfolio company management teams, leading major business turnaround initiatives and projects.Formulation of transformation programs: Develop strategies for Commercial Excellence, including salesforce effectiveness, incentivization schemes, pricing optimization, and digital marketing initiatives.Knowledge sharing and capability development: Share expertise within the investment group and guide portfolio companies in areas such as supply chain optimization, ESG initiatives, and digital transformation.Collaboration with the company's Portfolio Team: Work closely with the broader team to drive critical performance and organizational health initiatives across portfolio companies.Third-party consulting management: Potentially lead or co-lead teams from consulting firms supporting portfolio companies, collaborating with CEOs and C-suite executives.Pre-transaction support: Assist Deal teams with targeted commercial due diligence (CDD) and contribute to crafting 100-day Value Creation Plans, including research on the competitive landscape within relevant sectors.Experience and Qualifications:Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience, preferably with a background in independently leading Commercial Excellence initiatives and Commercial Due Diligence (CDD).Experience in driving value creation for SMEs and mid-market companies in Southeast Asia.Proven track record with top-tier management consulting, transformation & turnaround firms, or private equity firms in the region.Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with business leaders at the Board, CXO, and CXO-1 levels.Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, familiarity with financial models, and industry analyses.Superior critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and team-building skills.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Conversational fluency in a key local language in the Southeast Asian region (Mandarin or other dialects, Bahasa Melayu, Thai) is preferred.
