What you will do:Execution and processing:1. Execute tasks assigned accurately within turnaround time, including but not limited to the followings:
  • Handle trade finance products (invoice financing, micro financing, reverse factoring financing, etc.)
  • Conduct AML and credit checks for all transactions.
  • Generate, liaise and follow-up with internal and external parties about the completion of Letter of Offer (LO), Supplemental Letter of Offer (SLO), and Letter of Notification (LN).
  • Perform due diligence activities on Issuers’ request of drawdown loans.
  • Prepare and send payment instruction letters to the Trustee, as well as set up the payment in a dedicated financial portal, monitor and ensure all payments are processed.
  • Deal with repayment from Issuer(s) and distribution to investor(s).
  • Perform bank reconciliation.
  • Ensure all the registers/trackers are promptly updated.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders.
  • Perform cross functional tasks within Operations department whenever required.
2. Provide on-the-job training to the new joiner(s) at the same level in respect of related job functions.Process improvement:
  • Support on increasing the efficiencies of processes and improve the turnaround time of operations.
  • Participate in the company projects and perform UAT testing whenever required to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
Risk management:
  • To ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements on operations and credit standards.
  • Updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) from time to time whenever there is an approved process change and/or risk rating change.
  • Escalate error, issue and /or deviation from SOP immediately, within 24 hours upon detection.
  • Support on audit.
  • Job function listed is not exhaustive and can include other responsibilities as assigned.
RequirementsWhat we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Finance, Banking, Economic and/or Business & Commerce.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in banking, trade finance operations, credit operations, back office, and credit administration.
  • Interns (in last semester)/Fresh Graduates/Entry level applicants, with Upper Second-Class Honors and above, are encouraged to apply, training will be provided.
  • A team player, able to work under pressure, adaptable to occasional overtime demands, and fast learner.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good at problem solving and negotiation skill with all levels.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and the ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
  • Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong drive and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in KL Eco City.
You will shine in this role if you are/have:
  • PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Appliances; Ability to create and process Google Sheets.
  • Detailed oriented and familiar with BURSA rules and SC guidelines.
  • Available on an immediate basis.
