We are looking for an experienced and strategic Manager to lead our Inventory Planning & Purchasing team within a healthcare and medical devices setting. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability of critical medical supplies and equipment while optimizing inventory levels and managing procurement operations Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of inventory planners and purchasing officers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop team capabilities through training and professional development initiatives. Inventory Planning: Oversee inventory planning strategies to ensure adequate stock levels across departments and facilities. Analyze demand forecasts, usage trends, and business requirements to optimize inventory. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, manage expiry risks, and ensure traceability. Purchasing & Supplier Management: Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor performance evaluation. Ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of medical supplies and equipment. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with healthcare and medical devices procurement standards. Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure all inventory and purchasing activities comply with Medical Device Authority or any other relevant authority regulations Collaborate with business, finance and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals. Support audits and reporting requirements related to inventory, suppliers and procurement. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, healthcare supply chain expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory and purchasing management , with at least 2 years in a leadership role within healthcare. Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain operations and regulatory requirements.
