- Lead the Engineering team to provide effective and timely technical support to operations.
- Oversee all engineering initiatives to ensure customer expectations, project timelines, and budgets are consistently met.
- Direct engineering activities to support sales, manufacturing, and quality with a focus on achieving business objectives.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and provide accurate technical costing to enhance win rates.
- Drive successful and timely New Product Introductions through concurrent engineering practices.
- Leadcost-reduction efforts by improving manufacturing methods and process efficiency.
- Manage technology and product transfers from other divisions or locations.
- Champion innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and applying them to improve business performance.
- Coach, develop, and lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers to uphold high performance standards.
- Use Emotional Intelligence (EI) principles to manage and inspire the team effectively.
- Align the Engineering function with business goals, ensuring responsiveness, knowledge retention, and business continuity.
- Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment — aerospace, metal machining, or precision engineering preferred.
- Strong knowledge of machining, brazing, stamping, and heat treatment processes; NDT experience is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of materials engineering and technology management in a manufacturing context.
- Proven leadership and people management skills in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels and the ability to engage a multicultural workforce
