Design Engineer ( Civil )

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor in Structural Engineering and a member of IEM & BEM.
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in engineering consultancy industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD software and other design enigneering tools. eg : Prokon, SAFE, Plxis, Etabs.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant building cones and regulations.
• Able to work under pressure with good time management skill / teamwork abilities and willing to learn new things.

• Coordinate and monitor for all on going projects from the initial conception until final completed to schedule.
• Duties include on computer programming for analysis and design of piling, foundation, substructure and other RC works in projects. Technical support for all the alternative design and any rectification proposalcalculation & other relevant report for Consultant Engineer approval.
• Ensure all paper works related to all the projects intact as per requirements from Client, Architect and / or Consultant.
• Checking all the relevant construction drawings for accuracy and discrepancies between Architect, M&E and Structural drawings that may arise prior and during site work activities.
• Preparing engineering drawings, specifications and reports (Initial and final as built stage)
• Attend site/technical meetings with CLient, Consultant Engineers and othe parties (if necessary) to discuss and solve the problems with the application of engineering concepts, practice and technique.
• Assist to coordinate with the staff members and the construction, operation activities at project site for ensuring all work performed as per design specifications.
• Estimate quantites and costs of materials used for all on going projects
