Our products are fully Halal certified and ready to rock the Asia-Pacific's world. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety, by conducting audits and inspections at various stages of the construction process. He/She will be responsible for reviewing construction plans, specifications, and procedures, and ensuring that all construction work is completed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards. Responsibilities: Managing relationships with the company's engineering consultants and oversee their team's workflow. To liaise with client, consultants, sub-contractors, supervisor and to ensure the construction work at site is according to construction drawing and meeting standard quality requirement. Work with suppliers and contractors on the architectural drawing and bills of quantities, BQ. Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Review construction plans, specifications, and procedures to ensure that they are accurate and complete. Monitor construction activities to ensure that work is being performed in accordance with approved plans and specifications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to construction quality control and assurance. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the company. Provide guidance and training to construction teams to improve their understanding of quality control and assurance principles and practices. Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control programs to ensure that construction activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures. Identify potential quality issues or safety hazards and work with construction teams to implement corrective actions. Ensure materials, tools and machinery are properly arranged for safe keeping on site. Assess hazards, determine risks, conduct regular inspections, and maintain a safety programme. Monitor rectification work due to quality issue (if any). Administration works including tender evaluation, sourcing of suppliers and sub cons, preparation of BQ, taking off quantities, pricing and submission of the tender. To prepare a comprehensive quality report and submit on weekly basis. Prepare monthly report progress, filling documentation, material submission, site dairy based on the construction work. Document and report findings of audits and inspections, and recommend improvements to construction procedures, as needed. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Construction or Project Manager/Director/CEO. Requirements: Must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering/ Building or equivalent. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in construction field. Knowledge of construction quality control and assurance. Have strong analytical and desire for problem solving and challenges. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prefer with experience in Factory Construction Project. Possess knowledge and resource for Tender Submission. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications. Willing to relocate and base in respective construction site. Able to converse in English & Chinese.
