- Lead, mentor, and manage the Focus Factory Purchasing team to ensure high performance, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Oversee workload distribution, ensuring tasks are assigned effectively and team capacity is optimized.
- Ensure adherence to all purchasing processes and work instructions; actively participate in process reviews and improvements.
- Ensure Buyers attend Work Order Detail meetings fully prepared to provide accurate and timely status updates.
- Serve as the primary liaison for purchasing-related issues with customers, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Ensure team members are well-trained and fully understand customer contractual requirements (e.g., LOI/LOU, PSA, MSA) and comply with all relevant obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by introducing new programs and concepts to enhance purchasing performance.
- Benchmark purchasing operations against industry standards and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce customer material liabilities.
- Maintain and update all demand planning metrics and other KPIs as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or higher is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a progressively responsible leadership or management role preferred.
- Proven expertise in Purchasing, Production, and Materials Planning is essential.
- Proficiency in Oracle JDE is highly desirable.
- A suitable combination of education and experience that enables effective performance in this role may be considered.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and influence operations and purchasing teams.
- Highly self-driven, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
