
Senior Inspector (Mechanical & Piping)

- Conduct inspections on mechanical and piping works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Verify and monitor welding activities, NDT, and material traceability.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, WPS, PQR, and NDT reports.
- Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed inspection and surveillance reports for submission to clients.
- Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure all mechanical and piping activities comply with PETRONAS and regulatory requirements.
- Support project audits and quality surveillance as required.
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification.
- Valid CSWIP 3.4 or PCN RI Level II certification for Radiographic Interpretation.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 7 years of offshore experience in gas processing / wellhead platforms.
- At least 7 years of experience with PETRONAS or similar Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) in Malaysia.
- Strong knowledge of welding, NDT, piping codes, and inspection standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong reporting and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in offshore environments.
