Job Responsibility Possess good understanding of development project specifications, construction, and designs Take lead on project implementation and oversee site works progress for successful completion Prepare and submit progress reports Coordinate, monitor, and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance and timeline adherence Control materials and resources allocation requirements Conduct daily or weekly site briefings and updates Handle escalations from contractors Conduct periodic site inspections for specification and quality adherence Ensure timely rectification of defects escalations Supervise and monitor work progress, manage costs/budget, and work performance on-site Resolve work procedure, complaints, or construction problems Implement policies and SOPs as required by the quality system Manage claims for Loss and Expense and Variations Assist in identification of changes in the Conditions of Contract Monitor supplier's and subcontractor's performances Control and verify supplier's and/or nominated supplier's products Take full responsibility for project final inspection and handover Identify necessary remedial and outstanding works Clearly define inspection and test statuses Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior Make recommendations for key personnel based on background, experience, contract requirements, and workload Prepare and issue memos or letters to relevant personnel Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors for smooth project completion Perform quality checks on project materials and construction quality Assist in resolving day-to-day issues and challenges Complete tasks and assignments assigned by superiors Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments or duties/tasks as assigned by superiors Diligent, responsible, and willing to learn Support management-assigned tasks and assignments Be flexible to undertake other duties as determined by management Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments or tasks as needed Job Requirements Minimum qualification of Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent At least 5 years of on-site working experience in the construction industry Proficient in deciphering property design drawings and plans Ability to work independently and in a team, under tight deadlines and stressful conditions Strong project planning and supervising skills Good oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook Flexibility to travel outstation and work outside normal hours as required Preparedness to adhere to employer's requirements, including occasional evening or weekend work for special events or urgent tasks Pleasant personality, independence, smart-working, and strong communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Adaptability to changing priorities and schedules Good physical condition Strong probability and decision-making skills Job Benifits Direct Support and Guidance by Senior Good Performance and Attitude will be Rewarded Yearly bonus and Performance Bonus Opportunities for career development and advancement Competitive Compensation and Benefits Medical Coverage
