Key Account Manager Department : Sales - Retrofit Reporting to : HOD of Sales / General Manager Location: Kota Damansara/ Budget up to 9K Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager to lead sales engagement in the hotel and hospitality sector , with a focused portfolio of water heating, cooling, and purification solutions . As an individual contributor, this role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and delivering value-driven proposals that align with the operational, sustainability, and comfort goals of our customers. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a consultative approach to selling and a strong understanding of technical solutions within hospitality environments. Key Responsibilities : 1. Sales Acquisition & Growth in Hospitality Sector -Identify and secure new sales opportunities for water heating, cooling, and purification systems in hotels and related commercial segments. -Develop compelling solution proposals that highlight energy savings, guest comfort, ESG impact, and cost efficiency. -Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and actively contribute to business expansion efforts. 2. Client Relationship & Account Management -Act as the primary liaison for assigned hotel and resort clients, building long-term, trust-based relationships. -Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project and post-installation phases. -Coordinate internally with technical and after-sales teams to resolve issues and optimize customer experience. 3. Consultative Selling & Custom Solutions -Conduct needs analysis and site assessments to tailor proposals to each client's operational requirements. -Present technical solutions effectively to both non-technical and engineering stakeholders. -Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams for demos, sizing proposals, and system configuration. 4. Market Insight & Strategy Support -Monitor trends in hospitality infrastructure, sustainability initiatives, and water management practices. -Provide customer and market feedback to guide product positioning and innovation efforts. -Support strategic planning through regular account reviews and market reporting. 5. Sales Operations & CRM Management -Maintain accurate sales pipeline updates, proposals, and client information in CRM systems. -Prepare timely sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics. -Ensure documentation and approval processes are adhered to for all deals and commercial agreements. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, Exposure to hotel infrastructure, HVAC, or water system solutions will be considered an advantage Proven ability to manage large accounts and navigate long-cycle sales processes independently. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to operate autonomously.
