- Examining insurance proposals
- Collecting background information and assessments of risk
- Analysing statistical data using specialist computer programmes
- Writing quotes and negotiating the terms with brokers and clients
- Deciding the wording of policies
- Preparing insurance policy terms and conditions
- Liaising with insurance brokers and customers.
- The candidates must possess at least Diploma in Finance / Accounts / Business / Mathematics or any relevant field
- Have 1 year experience in insurance / banking underwriter
- Good understanding of statistics and probablities and overall mathematics
- Excellent in computer specifically MS Office
