- Maintenance of Storage and Backup infrastructure in premises Data Center, including all proxies and gateways related to backup.
- Support Virtualization and storage related service requests and changes requested by application or infrastructure teams.
- Work with Change Management to propose and implement changes especially for Data Center migration patching for ongoing quality, efficiency and resiliency requirements.
- Ensure that operational SLA's are met, and crafting meaningful reports and metrics to track progress of current infrastructure, including capacity planning and operational improvements.
- Ensure solution compliance and integration with enterprise architecture and Infosec policy for Infrastructure and Security systems by reviewing and advising on new and existing Information Technology projects.
- Providing advice and guidance to all areas of IT and Business Management, analysts, planners, designers and developers on all aspects of compute infrastructure.
- Create and document the solution using the existing Infrastructure Standard Platforms and Design Patterns
- Act as a subject matter expert in matters pertaining to one of either the Compute or Storage towers in the organization.
- Graduate in Bachelor Degree of Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in corporate infra operations.
- Experience in Enterprise Storage (Dell EMC, Huawei, Hitachi) design, deployment and operations in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience in bash, Powershell and other scripting for operational efficiency.
- Experience in performing VM migration on databases like Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL would be advantageous.
- Ability to direct project design and planning activities associated with complex or large sized network infrastructure development projects.
