Why does this job exist and why is it critical?Main job purpose is to investigate fraud red flags that are discovered during the course of scheduled audits, and to identify the control weakness that led to the fraud. Function also requires the incumbent to plan, schedule and manage risk based audits performed by the SP Specialist. Role includes investigating Defalcation-related cases, reporting and recommending actions on suspects to the Defalcation Committee (DC), and acting as the Secretary to the DC. Cases investigated by Special Projects are material in nature and may have significant financial and/or reputational damage to Maxis.What are you accountable for?

Manage & investigate all cases reported via the Ethics Hotline, and present it to the Defalcation Committee quarterly, or as when required.
Identify, plan & manage risk-based audits annually for scheduled audits based on reported cases of Fraud for the preceding year.
Conduct fact-finding interviews with informants & accused / suspects to provide management with un-biased facts to assist in decision making
Intelligence gathering on suspects, which may include employees, contractors, customers, suppliers, and other 3rd parties outside the company.
Perform analysis of internal & physical records to assist in investigations
Manage and produce a summary of Defalcation cases to Audit Committee annually, with annualized savings calculated.

What do you need to have for this role?Bachelors DegreeSpecialized in: CFE certification an advantageTotal Work Experience: 11 to 15 yearsTotal Relevant Experience: 7 to 10 years in InvestigationsMore tha10 years in Forensic investigation & Risk ManagementPrevious experience with Police/MACC or other relevant investigative bodies are an added advantageFamiliar with investigation Techniques & ToolsExperience in Fraud ManagementHas good analytical skills & interviewing skillsWhat’s next?
