It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.About the DepartmentThe Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients' investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.Job ResponsibilitiesTo manage the day to day operation of Money Market processing, specifically in ensuring Fixed Income trades done are executed in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.Assist Team Lead in ensuring smooth administration of the team.Trade Validation against independent supporting documentsConfirmation- ensure accurate and complete trade confirmations are sent for all trades on timely basisSettlement -ensure all manual settlements are processed on timely basis.Ensure all other settlement messages are sent out to the processing party timely and completion of settlement is monitored and checked for accuracyEvent Monitoring and validation- monitor all events for the product's life cycle and validate trade events.Ensure all event notices are sent on timely basisReconciliation- ensure all exceptions, outstanding issues are accounted for and reconciled or resolved timely. Review reconciliation items triggered by auto reconciliation process.Ensure post accounting entries guided by accounting schemaReporting- ensure all operations management and regulatory reports are well prepared and submitted on time for internal and regulatory requirement.Liaise with dealers on daily operations issues.Job RequirementsDegree or equivalent.Good English communication and written skillsGood interpersonal skills and strong team player.Fast learner and able to handle multi-tasking.Min 5 years of working experience.Working knowledge of Microsoft office / 360, excel spreadsheet & power point presentation skills, understand core banking & documentation as well as ability to work in a structured, high volume, time-sensitive and demanding environment.Experience in Global Market application platforms will be an added advantage. e.g. Murex Treasury SystemBe a part of UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
